EXTRA! EXTRA! Read all about it!! You are a reporter. Write a newspaper article about a topic of interest to you. Remember the 5 W’s: who, what, when, where, and how. Try to use all of your spelling words. You can use Publisher or Word, or you can write it by hand. |

Creative Cartoon –Create a cartoon comic strip using your spelling words. Use paper or PowerPoint slides to do this.

Activity 26Tongue Twisters –Write five alliterative sentences using your spelling words. Try to make each word begin with the same letter to create a tongue twister. Even though they may be silly, the sentences need to make sense. See your spelling book for examples.

Activity 27 Using Power Point, create an interactive quiz that other students can take to study for the test. You must use all 20 spelling words. |
Activity 28 Pretend you are an explorer, traveling on a ship across the Atlantic Ocean. Write a letter to a friend back in Europe, telling them of your journey and what you’ve discovered. Try to use all of your spelling words, and don’t forget to use correct letter format! You may use Word. |
