Each night, Monday through Friday, the students will bring home a homework folder and his/her Planner.  The Planner is a very important tool in your child’s education.  First, your child will have his/her homework written down in it.  Next, I ask you to look at the Planner and sign it indicating that you have seen it and the homework is completed.  The Planner is one tool I use to communicate with parents.  I will write notes, make comments, relay any information that you will need to know.  Likewise, you can jot a note in it to me.

        Your child’s homework will be in his/her homework folder as well as any important papers or letters that are to be signed, such as information forms, school letters from the office, etc.  Each week I send home a newsletter with information about curriculum for the week, upcoming tests, upcoming events, and Student of the Week.  Please take time to read this newsletter each week.

          PLEASE check your child’s Planner and folder each night and be sure to take out things that they should keep at home.  Your child is responsible for getting the folder and Planner back to school each day.  This is a procedure that your child will learn in a short period of time.
