2.      Discussion – Lattice method.  Refer to SRB page 20 and 40.

3.      Complete #1 and #4 together on page MJ page 53.

4.      Work on MJ page 53.

3.      Journal letter on Independent Book – turn in with rubric attached.

4.      History Alive – Read Chapter 2

·        Read 2.1, 2.2, and 2.3 and discuss while reading.

·        Complete 2.3 summary together.  Use the word bank in your paragraphs.

·        Read 2.4 and 2.5 and complete 2.4 and 2.5 summaries.

3.      National Geographic Explorer – Read the article "Parrot People" and answer the questions: 1)  Why is "Parrot People" a good title for this article?  2) How did the Kayapo respond to the author's visit?  3) Why does the author worry about the Kayapo?

4.      Spelling Tic Tac Toe and Fluency Practice.
