Objective: Develop understanding of the trait: word choice and practice writing skills.

Activities:

  1. Writing Activity – Point of View – Type and edit using Read-Write-Gold.

Objective: 9.1 To review coordinate grids, ordered number pairs, and coordinates; and to use a coordinate grid.

Activities:       

1.      Discuss how to plot ordered number pairs on a grid using SRB. p. 192.

2.      Hidden Treasures Game using plots on MJ p. 298.  Show on SMART Board example first.

3.      Complete Math Boxes 9.1 MJ p. 300.

2.      Spelling Tic Tac Toe – 4 activities by the end of the week.

1.      And Then What Happened, Paul Revere? helping verbs practice.

2.      Play Practice – Make props.

3.      Groups meet w/ Mrs. Brueggeman.  Groups called at designated times: 12:00 – Green Group; 12:15 – Red Group; Independent – Blue Group

1.      Work with small group – Finish round of long division.

2.      Work on other work or independent projects.

3.      Work on Matter and Energy Webbit.
