Objective: 6.9 To use a clock face to add and subtract fractions; and to investigate adding and subtracting fractions with unlike denominators.

Activities:       

1.       Whole Class – Go over how to do MJ p. 201.  Also discuss how to use common denominators on MJ p. 202.

2.      Complete MJ p. 201, 202, and 203.

3.      Grade Math Journals.

Stations:  Mon. 11:20-11:45; 11:45-12:10

1.      Poetry – Write one of your poems and type it up.  Save in your poetry folder as poem type and your number: example is acroustic17

2.      National Geographic – Read the article “Sleepy Head” then complete Dear Mr. Henshaw Character Matching on Quia.

3.      Dear Mr. Henshaw Reading Response on Moodle.

4.      Meet with Mrs. B.

2.      Spelling Tic Tac Toe – 4 activities by the end of the week.

2.      Work on other work or independent projects. (Ms. Rhoades students finish Math work from this morning.)

3.      Work on Science Fair projects – look at rubric and grade yourselves.
