Objective: Develop and practice writing skills.

Objective: 10.3 To review and to translate word descriptions into algebraic expressions; to extend the “What’s My Rule?” routine to rules with algebraic expressions.

Activities:       

1.      Complete MAP Math Review Pack

2.      Go over MAP pack.

3.      Discuss Math Message about Joe and Maria.

4.      Talk about what an algebraic expression is using SRB p. 202.

5.      Complete MJ p. 350 and 351 working with algebraic expressions.

6.      Use expressions with the “What’s My Rule?” on MJ p. 352.

2.      Vocabulary Sketch of Katie’s Trunk.

3.      Vocabulary eWord practice for Katie’s Trunk.

4.      Groups meet w/ Mrs. Brueggeman.  Groups called at designated times: 12:00 – Green Group; 12:15 – Red Group (practice play); Independent – Blue Group (practice play)

2.      Work on other work or independent projects.

3.      Introduce writing project of digitales.

3.      Discuss Rotational and Reflection Symmetry.
