b.    Teaching Point – We are going to write what we would like and don’t worry about fixing things, just get our ideas down and don’t worry about trying to be finished.

a.    Connection – Yesterday, I spoke to you for a few mins., then we just worked on our writing. That is the first 2 parts of Writing Workshop, with us then ending with a debrief and share time.

b.    Teaching Point – Writing Tools in the classroom: dictionaries, thesaurus, on-line resources, word wall, grammar handout, proofing sheet (brief intro.), use of pencils, etc.

c.    Demonstration – How do we transition from one workshop part to another and get needed materials.
