Objective: Students will choose personal narrative to publish.

1.    Mini-Lesson:

a.      Connection – Good writers decide on favorite/best pieces to publish. 

b.      Teaching Point – Review what a personal narrative is and discuss how revise and edit.

c.      Demonstration – Discuss basic examples of personal narratives.

2.    Conference/Small Group/Independent Work Time:

d.      Students will choose a writing piece from their snippet journals and publish it.
