Objective: Develop knowledge of dividing by Two-Digit Numbers.

Activities:                               

  1. Discuss and model– Practice how to divide by a 2-digit divisor with or without a remainder. 
  2. Check by multiplication
  3. Complete Practice 12-5.

Writing

Objective: Students will use strategies they already know for generating research project on animals.

Activities:

  1. Mini-Lesson:

a.      Connection – Writers want to show someone they care on days that honor them.

b.      Teaching Point – Think of special things that individual has done for us.

c.      Demonstration – Father’s Day Poem.
